Charice Pempengco, a native of the Philippines is a young singer who achieved fame through YouTube when one of her fans posted her jaw dropping videos.
Charice Pempengco started joining singing competition in the Philippines when she was 4 years old. Lately, Charice Pempengco made a name for herself when she won 3rd place in ABS-CBN’s “Little Big Star”. Born on May 10, 1993 in Cabuyao, Laguna in the Philippines, Charice Pempengco conquered the world with her singing talent that made her a guest in some of the most popular TV shows world wide including Oprah, The Paul O’grady Show and DeGeneres Show.

The posted video of Charice Pempengco joining the Star King received a huge number of hits and caught the attention of the producers of Helen DeGeneres show. Charice Pempengco was then invited to sing in the show. In the Helen DeGeneres show, Charice Pempengco sang “And I Am Telling You” by the Dream Girls and “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston.

After Charice Pempengco was invited to sing at the Helen DeGeneres Show, she was invited by the British TV show, Paul O’grady for another show down of her talent. In the Paul O’grady show, she sang the same songs; “And I Am Telling You” and “I Will Always Love You”.

Later after the Paul O’grady appearance, Charice Pempengco was once again invited by Star King for another guest appearance. Note: the Star King show where Charice Pempengco showed up became top rated of all the Star King shows. In her second guest appearance, Charice Pempengco sang “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor. She also had a duet with Lena Park singing Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

Today, Charice Pempengco is on her way to Hollywood as her contract with ABS-CBN and Star Record is about to expire. I’m sure that Charice Pempengco will conquer Hollywood and will achieve the same diva status as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston have achieved.
